Lift-O-Matik Cable
The steel cable that triggers the quadrant fast-lift mechanism. When the operator pulls the cable, the mechanism takes the linkage from its preset position to the transport position; when released, the system returns to its previous working position. The LFT20 and LFT54 electronic retrofit kits connect to exactly this cable.
The cable is the mechanism's only external interface: it triggers the lift cycle without going directly into the hydraulics, the valve or the lever. That is why the retrofit logic is simple — the free end of the cable outside the tractor is detached and connected to the cable entry socket on the kit's body.
- The original connection on the tractor side is never disturbed; when the kit is removed, the system returns to its previous state.
- No cable is supplied with the kit; the tractor's existing cable is used.
- The cable must slide freely inside its guide tube; a jammed cable strains the kit.
This is the basic condition for compatibility: if the tractor has a cable-pulled fast-lift mechanism, the kit can be fitted. Make and model are not decisive. If there is no cable, or if the lift is managed entirely from an electronic control unit, the LFT series kits are not suitable.
