Cable Entry Socket

This is the entry point on the LFT20 and LFT54 housing where the tractor's existing Lift-O-Matic cable is attached. Only the free end of the cable outside the tractor is detached and fitted into this socket; the original connection on the mechanism side is not touched at all. Neither kit is supplied with a cable; the existing cable is used.

The socket is the force transfer point that passes the motor's pull on to the cable. Two points are decisive when making the connection:

The kit's pull capacity also becomes meaningful here: the LFT54 applies at most 15 kg and the LFT20 10 kg of force to the cable, and the stroke is limited to 50 mm on the LFT54 and 60 mm on the LFT20. If the mechanism expects movement beyond this range the lever will not work fully; in that case the friction along the cable route and the attachment point are checked first.

On the LFT54 the socket is one of four connection points, together with two supply terminals and one control signal wire.
