Will the CM1405 fit my vehicle, and how do I confirm compatibility?
Compatibility must be confirmed one by one for each vehicle. The two decisive factors are that the mirror mechanically seats into the existing housing and that the ignition and door lock trigger signal needed for folding can be accessed. When you contact us with the make, model and year information, we evaluate compatibility together.
The general vehicle compatibility statement in the product specification table does not mean it fits every vehicle unconditionally; real compatibility depends on these two headings:
- Mechanical: the CM1405 body seating into the vehicle's existing exterior mirror housing, and the connector and fixing points matching.
- Electrical: being able to reach the 12V DC supply plus the ignition and door lock trigger signal. In systems of this kind, a remote-controlled central locking is typically a precondition. In vehicles where lock and ignition status are managed over a data bus, the suitable signal point must be determined by a vehicle electrician.
What you need to send us: vehicle make, model and model year; whether the existing mirror is manual or electric; whether the vehicle has remote-controlled central locking; if possible, a photograph of the existing mirror connector.
Since the list of supported makes and models is not published data, we do not give a general suitability commitment; you can obtain pre-order confirmation via our contact page.
