Where can I apply in a dispute?

We recommend seeking a solution with the seller first. If no result is obtained, in consumer disputes you may apply to the provincial or district consumer arbitration committee. For the year two thousand and twenty-six the monetary limit is one hundred and eighty-six thousand lira; the arbitration committee has jurisdiction over disputes below this amount, and those above it go to the consumer court. Application is free of charge.

The recommended order to follow:

  1. Solution with the seller: make a written application with your order number. Most problems are resolved at this stage, and written correspondence serves as evidence in later steps.
  2. Consumer arbitration committee: for disputes below the monetary limit, application is mandatory and free of charge. The application can be made through e-Devlet via the TÜBİS system.
  3. Consumer court: disputes above the monetary limit are taken directly to the consumer court.

The monetary limit is updated each year according to the revaluation rate; confirm the current value from the Ministry of Trade announcement before applying.

Attach the following to your application: the invoice or payment document, the order confirmation, correspondence, the service intake-release document if any, and photographs of the fault. For corporate and commercial purchases the arbitration committee route is not open; such disputes are subject to the general provisions.
