What should I do if one jack does not extend on the KTS200?

A single jack failing to move is usually caused by power, wiring or a mechanical jam. First stop the system with the Emergency Stop, confirm the service battery is fully charged, check the cable and connector going to that jack, then try moving only that jack individually in Manual mode. The current protection and timeout control of the GRV485 deliberately cut the movement in a jam condition.

Step-by-step check:

  1. Cut the movement with the Emergency Stop and make things safe before going under the vehicle.
  2. Switch to Manual mode and try to move only that jack individually. If the other three jacks work normally, the problem is most likely specific to that line.
  3. Check the cable and connector going to the jack: breaks, crushing, a water-damaged or oxidised terminal, a loose socket.
  4. Look for a mechanical obstruction: mud, stones, ice, corrosion, bending from an impact. If there is an obstruction in the travel path of the jack mechanism, the current protection trips immediately.
  5. Check the service battery. A weak battery shows up first on the most heavily loaded jack; try again after a full charge.
  6. If the problem persists, contact AXI technical support; remote parameter updates and software intervention are possible on the system, and the product is covered by a 2-year warranty.

What not to do: trying to force the jack out by manual intervention, fitting a larger fuse to disable the protection, restarting levelling over and over with a jack that will not move. All three make the existing problem worse.
