What do the ELF-812's position and sensitivity modes do?

The AXI ELF-812 offers two operating modes: in position control mode the selected linkage height is maintained repeatably, while in sensitivity control mode lever movements are given in finer steps. With its linear rack motor and electronic control module, the kit makes the tractor's rear links manageable from a joystick.

The ELF-812's electronic control module tracks the position of the linear rack motor that moves the hydraulic lever. Thanks to this:

These modes do not mean a draft sensor; the system does not measure draft force, it manages the position of the lever. The implement's real depth in the soil continues to vary with soil structure, wheel sinkage and implement setting.

The set contains an electronic control module, a linear rack motor, a joystick control unit, fender switches, a remote control and mounting hardware. After installation, automatic system calibration is run; this is how the module learns the end points of the lever. The ELF-812 is covered by a 36-month warranty.
