How is the SAROZ wireless remote control paired, and can a second remote be added?

To pair, the learn button on the receiver board is held down, the 1R key on the remote is pressed, then the button is released and the keys are tested; the procedure takes about 30 seconds. More than one remote can be registered to the same receiver. The remote has 4 metal buttons (1R-4R), runs on a 23A 12V alkaline battery, has an aluminium and ABS body, works in the -10/+60 °C range and has a 1 year warranty.

Pairing steps:

  1. Hold down the learn button on the receiver board.
  2. Press the 1R key on the remote.
  3. Release the learn button and test the four keys one by one.

The procedure takes about 30 seconds and requires no special tool.

Multiple remotes: more than one remote can be registered to the same receiver. Typical uses: a second helm station with one remote on deck and one in the cabin, working with two operators, and keeping a spare remote against the possibility of dropping one overboard. A spare remote is also a practical solution for fleets and charter boats.
