In which variants is the SAROZ K.E.V.2 sold, and which one should I choose?
The sets currently listed are the 12V with joystick and the 24V with joystick; both include a geared DC motor, a 30A driver module, a wired joystick, a remote control, supply and control cables and mounting hardware, and carry a 2 year electronics warranty. In addition, the 4-button wireless remote control is sold separately as an accessory and has a 1 year warranty.
The choice is made first according to the voltage of your boat's battery:
- 12V set with joystick: for small fishing and leisure boats running on a 12V DC battery.
- 24V set with joystick: for medium and large boats with a 24V DC system and for small commercial boats.
The functional contents of the two sets are the same; the difference is the supply voltage. On both, speed and torque adjustment can be made, and there is a soft start and stop profile.
A set configuration without a joystick is also defined in the product family; the difference is the absence of the wired joystick. This variant is not currently listed in the store, so for orders the two listed sets should be taken as the basis.
The wireless remote control is an accessory, not a set: it is added to an existing system when a spare remote, a second helm station or a second operator is needed; it is compatible with the K.E.V.2, K.E.2 and K.E.1 receiver modules.
