How is ROBEG maintained and which parts are replaced?
ROBEG is designed to be modular: the brush, wheel and battery modules can be replaced individually. The last step of the usage flow is the periodic brush and battery check. The body is made of a material with high corrosion resistance and is intended for outdoor use.
Maintenance is built around three wearing modules:
- Brush: the 800 mm industrial brush is the part that wears the most. Shortening of the bristles, hardening and deformation directly reduce cleaning quality; it should be checked visually after every cycle.
- Wheels: grip on a sloped surface depends directly on the wheel surface; when wear or hardening is seen, the module is replaced.
- Battery module: it is replaced when the charge retention time shortens noticeably.
In daily practice, clearing the water distribution channels of limescale and sediment at the end of a cycle, rinsing the body and storing the robot dry extend its life. Using demineralized water for cleaning reduces limescale build-up both on the panel and on the equipment.
