Does ROBEG work on a site without mains electricity?
Yes. ROBEG takes its energy from an internal DC battery and does not require a mains connection while working; the charging and connection equipment is included in the set along with the battery power module. Battery capacity, running time on a single charge and charging time are not published in the product documentation.
Operating independently of the mains is a decisive advantage, especially in ground-mounted solar plants and in arrays far from the substation. There is no need to run a long extension cable, to supply power with a generator, or to build an on-site socket infrastructure.
- Energy source: DC battery; the robot is not connected to the mains while working.
- Set contents: the charging and connection equipment comes in the set together with the battery power module.
- Modularity: the battery module can be replaced as a separate module; this provides continuity of work on long shifts and at end-of-life replacement.
- Operational discipline: the first step of the usage flow is already the charge state check; charging should be planned before going out to the site.
Values such as battery voltage, amp-hour capacity, the number of panels cleaned on a single charge and the charging time are not present in the product data; for that reason we do not give a numerical commitment.
