Which lever types does the kit fit, and how is compatibility checked?
The kit works on hydraulic valve banks with a manually operated mechanical lever; it is not tied to a particular vehicle brand or model. Compatibility is determined not by a brand list but by three measurements: whether the lever moves freely, the peak force required to move the lever, and the free space for the motor bracket. The assessment is done with photographs.
The correct answer to the compatibility question is not a brand list, because there are very different valve banks and lever geometries under the same brand. What is decisive is the lever.
What needs to be checked:
- Lever type: It must be a mechanical lever pushed and pulled by hand. On a valve already driven electrically or by joystick, this kit has no role.
- Free movement: The lever must be able to complete its full stroke without seizing or catching. A rusted or stiff lever needs mechanical servicing first.
- Peak force: Measured by attaching a spring scale to the lever end on a hot system, and it must stay below the kit's capacity (HCT400 15 kgf, HCT402 ~20 kgf) with margin to spare.
- Mounting space: There must be free volume beside or behind the lever for the motor body and bracket.
- Stroke: The motor's angular range must be adjustable to cover the lever's travel from neutral to full stroke.
Practical flow: clear photographs of the valve bank and levers taken from several angles, the lever length dimension, and the measured peak force are shared; the assessment is made on this data. Photographs turn the compatibility question from brand guesswork into a measurement-based decision.
