How is the ELF-812's remote control used?
A remote control is included as standard in the AXI ELF-812 set and allows commands to be given to the links without climbing into the cab; it makes working alone possible when attaching, detaching and aligning implements. Since the remote control's range and frequency values are not stated in the product data, exact figures should be confirmed before purchase.
The remote control is one of the ELF-812's three control points; the others are the joystick control unit and the fender switches. Its typical use is while attaching and detaching implements: the operator stands beside the implement and aligns the lower links by eye.
Rules of use:
- Only use the remote control from a position where you can see the movement area directly; do not give commands from out of sight.
- Keep the tractor handbrake applied and the gearbox in neutral.
- Nobody apart from the person using the remote control should be between the implement and the links.
- When not in use, keep the remote control where unauthorised persons cannot reach it.
The LFT20 and LFT54 do not include a remote control; for the LFT20 the product data explicitly states "there is no remote control" and the control is done through a single-socket illuminated switch.
