What are the first commissioning steps after installation?
First all mechanical and electrical connections are checked, and the caravan is parked on flat, solid ground with the handbrake applied and chocks in place. Then each jack is inspected one by one in manual mode, the reference is zeroed with Tare and finally the automatic mode is run and the four-stage cycle observed.
Carry out the first commissioning in order; skipping a step can cause the current protection or the timeout to trip.
- Visual check: the bolts of the 4 jacks, the fixing of the GRV485 and ASX103, the cable clamps and the pass-through bushings.
- Electrical check: battery connection, polarity, tightness of all terminals. The house battery must be fully charged.
- Parking: Choose flat, solid ground. Apply the handbrake and place chocks; jacks are no substitute for a parking brake.
- Manual test: Extend and retract each jack one by one. Verify the directions of movement, that the cable is not under tension and that there is no contact anywhere.
- Tare: Reference zeroing is done while the caravan is as level as possible; the constant deviation caused by the mounting angle is thus eliminated.
- Automatic cycle: Run the system and watch the four stages - ground contact (jacks one by one), front-rear correction, left-right correction, precision correction.
- Closing: Retract all jacks with Retract Jacks and verify visually.
If an unexpected stop occurs at any step, cut the movement with Emergency Stop and contact installation support.
