How do enclosure dimensions and weights affect the choice of mounting location?

The LFT20 enclosure is 170 x 130 x 55 mm and 400 g; the LFT54 enclosure is 155 x 175 x 70 mm and about 650 g. Because the LFT54 is deeper and heavier, it should be bolted to a profile or chassis member rather than to sheet panel; the LFT20 is wider but low profile, so it fits into tight gaps. On both units, extra free space must be left in the direction of the cable entry.

When choosing the location, account not only for the enclosure itself but also for the service clearance around it:

Both enclosures are galvanised metal. The LFT20's protection rating is IP66, meaning it is fully dust tight and resistant to powerful water jets, but it is not suitable for continuous immersion. On the LFT54 the control board is embedded inside the motor and sealed watertight.
