Do the ELF-812 joystick and the fender switch work at the same time?

The AXI ELF-812 set comes with a joystick control unit, fender switches and a remote control together; all three give commands to the same electronic control module. In practice, giving opposite commands from two points at once is not correct use: the joystick is used in the cab, the fender switch when attaching an implement, and a single command source is taken as the basis each time.

On the ELF-812 the control points are alternatives to one another, and complementary:

Giving commands in opposite directions from two points at once is not meaningful in any system; the control module can produce only one movement. The rule for safe working is this: no command is given from the cab while somebody is around the implement. While attaching an implement, the person beside the tractor must hold the control, and nobody in the cab must touch the joystick.

After installation, automatic system calibration is run; from then on the control module moves within the same position limits regardless of which control point the command comes from.
