Can speed control be done wirelessly from the cab?
For the GS740 kit, wireless remote control is offered as an optional module; in the standard set the potentiometer and the IP67 metal button are wired. The GS740-3P works without a button and comes with a ready-made 2 metre IP67 connectorised harness per channel, with no communication between channels; each engine is fully independent.
In the standard configurations the control is wired:
- GS740: a precision potentiometer and an IP67 metal button come with the cable set. Wireless remote control, lift or automatic steering integration, and active-feedback speed stabilisation are listed as optional modules.
- GS740-3P: one potentiometer input per channel (0-3.3V proportional) and a 2 m IP67 connectorised harness. There is no button and no key for switching between idle and working speed. There is no communication between channels.
When evaluating a wireless solution, clarify the following: how many channels the remote control will drive, which position the system must go to when the signal is lost, and how emergency stop will be arranged. The critical point is this: emergency stop is never left to pulling the throttle actuator back to idle; what stops the engine is the fuel shut-off solenoid.
