SRD Regulation (Short Range Access Radio Devices)

The Regulation on Short Range Access Radio Devices sets the conditions of use for low-power radio devices in Türkiye and was published in the Official Gazette no. 28408 dated 11 September 2012. For devices that comply with the regulation and the technical criteria, no radio licence or usage fee is required.

The regulation defines the device classes and, in annexes, the permitted frequency band, output power and conditions of use for each class. Industrial radio remote controls fall into the short range access radio device class.

The technical limits to know in practice:

The exemption is not unconditional: the device must comply with the regulation and meet the relevant technical criteria. A device that is non-compliant, whose power has been raised, or whose radiated power has been increased by changing the antenna, falls outside this scope. The frequency band is not stated in the product data for the AXI ST and SF sets; verify your device's band from the product label and the user manual.
