Transmitter Remote Control Unit (Transmitter)
This is the handheld unit the operator carries, which converts button action into a radio frame and sends it to the receiver. On the AXI side two types are used: the LT200 is Li-Po rechargeable and IP67 protected, while the LF200 is a unit supplied by 3×AAA batteries with IP64 protection. The channel count determines the number of independent commands the transmitter produces.
The transmitter converts the pressed button into a data frame carrying its own identity code and command information and broadcasts it. When the button is released the transmission stops or the command field is reset; the receiver then drops the relevant relay. For this reason the transmitter is both the interface of the system and the starting point of its safety behaviour.
The difference between the two power options is decisive in the field:
- LT200 (Li-Po, IP67): used in the ST100 and ST200 sets, charged through the AXI-Link 3-pin connector; it provides continuity with charging between shifts.
- LF200 (3×AAA, IP64): used in the SF100 and SF200 sets; when the batteries run out they can be changed in the field within minutes, but IP64 protects against splashing, not immersion.
The transmitter's battery capacity, operating hours, number of buttons and operating temperature are not included in the product data; confirm these values from the technical specifications on the product page and from the user manual. If the transmitter has a crack or a deformed seal, the declared protection class is no longer valid.
