In-Cab Control Layout

This is the ergonomics and safety decision about where in the cab the joystick, switch and control unit will be positioned. The criterion is simple: the operator must be able to reach the control without taking their eyes off the field and without rising from the seat. Wrong placement is a source of fatigue, wrong commands and knocks while climbing in and out.

Decide the layout in this order:

On the safety side there are two rules: the emergency stop must be at the most easily reached point, and the raise-lower control must be protected so that it is not triggered by accidental contact. On a tractor without a cab the same questions are answered together with the outdoor conditions; the control is placed where it will be shielded from rain and will not catch on branches. Testing the layout with a few minutes of dry runs during installation is faster than moving it later.
