HCT402-KM extends AXI Technology's proven HCT402 hydraulic-lever conversion kit with remote ignition and starter control. The same handheld unit now drives the hydraulic lever proportionally and switches the vehicle's ignition on and off and cranks the starter — no need to go back to the cab.
The kit adds two new buttons to HCT402's HC402 servo motor and XRF encrypted wireless joystick, plus a panel-mounted SF100R dual-relay wireless receiver. SF100R reuses the receiver hardware from the field-proven SF100 series, reprogrammed with custom AXI firmware to sequence ignition and starter safely.

Four Controls on One Remote
HCT402-KM adds two buttons to the standard HCT402's two controls (Emergency Stop + joystick). The ignition/starter button mimics a real ignition key: the first press turns ignition on, holding it down for a second press cranks the starter — just like turning a key and holding it.

The SF100 family's receiver, reworked for ignition logic
SF100R uses the same receiver hardware as AXI's SF100 series, already running in thousands of crane-remote installations. In the standard SF100 it drives a DC motor's forward/reverse; in HCT402-KM it runs custom AXI firmware that sequences ignition and starter safely — the starter relay only engages while ignition is on and the button is held.
Hydraulic Lever Control — Inherited from HCT402
The lever itself still runs on HCT402's proven HC402 servo motor: ~20 kgf force, 7–40V wide voltage range (12V and 24V direct), reverse-polarity protection, IP67 housing and AXI's XRF encrypted link. All three calibration stages, and Soft/Dynamic control modes, carry over unchanged.

What exactly does HCT402-KM add over standard HCT402?
Hydraulic lever control is unchanged. Two new buttons are added to the remote (Ignition/Starter and Stop), and the kit includes a panel-mounted SF100R dual-relay receiver — so the same remote also switches ignition and cranks the starter.
Do I have to hold the button to crank the starter?
Yes — like turning and holding an ignition key. The first press turns ignition on; holding the second press cranks the starter for as long as it's held. Release it and the starter stops while ignition stays on.
What's the difference between Emergency Stop and the Stop button?
Emergency Stop only halts hydraulic lever motion — it doesn't touch the engine or ignition. The Stop button releases the ignition relay and stops the engine. They work independently.
Is the vehicle's original ignition key removed?
No. SF100R wires in parallel with the existing ignition and starter lines. The original key stays functional at all times, including if the wireless system is powered down.
Does it work on diesel vehicles?
On most vehicles, yes — but on some diesel engines cutting ignition alone won't stop the engine, and a separate fuel-cut relay may be needed. Share your vehicle's make and model before installation so we can confirm compatibility.
Where is SF100R mounted — can it stay outdoors?
The receiver is built for mounting inside a vehicle panel or enclosed housing, not for direct exposure to water and dust. The remote itself and the HC402 servo motor are IP67.
What's the range?
Lever control runs on the same XRF link as HCT402, up to 100 metres. The SF100R receiver has an open-field range of ~100 metres.
I already own HCT402 — can I upgrade to HCT402-KM?
Yes. Your existing HC402 servo motor and lever mounting stay as they are; the remote and SF100R receiver kit can be supplied separately and added to your system. Send an upgrade request and we'll quote per vehicle.
Why is there no price listed?
