GS740-3P Drilling Rig 3-Pump Electronic RPM Control System
Special 3-channel electronic RPM control for drilling rigs: 3 independent servo motors driven by 3 potentiometers from one cabin, button-less custom firmware, blue-wire calibration, 12/24V.
GS740-3P is a purpose-built electronic speed control system developed to manage three separate pumps on drilling rigs from a single control cabinet with three independent potentiometers. Each engine is driven by a cable-pull servo motor without removing the mechanical throttle; the speed of all three pumps is adjusted individually, steplessly and precisely from the operator panel.
Unlike the standard GS740, this version has no button: there is no idle–working speed toggle key. Instead, each engine rescales the 0%–100% working range you teach with the potentiometer internally via a calibration algorithm. Calibration does not rely on the mechanical button on the motor but on touching the blue memory wire in the harness to negative (GND) — designed for installations such as drilling cabins where the button cannot be reached by hand.
3 pumps, 3 potentiometers, one cabinet. Drive each pump separately from the cabinet with fingertip precision. Without climbing onto the engine or pulling the cable by hand — manage the speed from the panel.

Key Features
3 pumps – 3 potentiometers
Drive the engines of three drilling pumps individually from a single cabinet with three mutually independent potentiometers. Each channel has its own harness and its own motor.
Buttonless custom firmware
There is no idle–working toggle button. Speed is set entirely by the potentiometer, steplessly — simplified control for cabinet panels.
Custom calibration algorithm
The upper limit taught via the blue wire redistributes the working range across 0%–100%. Precise throttle control with the full resolution of the potentiometer even within a narrow range.
Mounting without disassembly
The mechanical throttle stays in place. The cable-pull servo motor is attached from above, leaving the original structure untouched.
Contactless position feedback
Closed-loop control with an AS5600 12-bit magnetic encoder. No wearing potentiometer/micro-switch, long-life precise positioning.
12V & 24V compatible
Operates at 12V or 24V DC according to the supply voltage of the drilling rig. Overcurrent and stall protections are active.
Wiring Connections (Colour Codes)
Colour
Function
Red
Motor supply (+) — power source (+) 12V / 24V
Black
Motor supply (−) / Chassis (GND)
Green
Potentiometer GND — outer terminal. The shield of the screened cable is also connected to this terminal
Yellow
Potentiometer signal — centre terminal (wiper)
Blue
Memory / calibration trigger terminal — briefly touched to black (GND)
Mind the polarity. Do not connect the red (+) and black (−) terminals in reverse; reverse polarity may cause permanent damage. Before connecting, verify the power supply voltage (12V / 24V) against the product label.
How Does It Work?
1
Connect the harness
Seat the IP67 connector of each motor by twisting it into place. Connect green (+ shield) to the outer terminal of the potentiometer and yellow to the centre terminal; supply power via red/black.
2
Tension at idle
Set the potentiometer to minimum. With the engine at idle, tighten the cable to the throttle so that it is taut.
3
Teach the top speed
Turn the potentiometer to bring the engine to its maximum speed. Touch the blue wire to negative; the green light blinks, after ~8 s the throttle is released and the upper limit is stored in memory.
4
Drive with precision
The potentiometer now distributes the span between idle and the taught top speed as 0%–100%. Precise throttle control even within a narrow working range.
Erasing the Memory (Recalibration)
1
Cut power to the motor (you may also unplug the connector) and wait ~5 seconds.
2
Connect the blue wire to negative (GND) first, then apply power.
3
With the blue terminal on negative, the memory is completely erased ~8 s after power-up; the motor performs its movement.
4
Release the blue wire. The potentiometer now works directly across the minimum–maximum range.
When should it be erased? If the cable slips, the cable is replaced, or the calibration is lost, erase the memory and teach it again from step 3.

Benefit
Drilling rigs
Precise control of the speed of 3 pumps from a single cabinet with separate potentiometers.
Multi-pump systems
Independent speed management of water, mud and pressure pumps.
Mobile hydraulic units
Remote throttle/speed control from the cabinet, without disassembly.

User manual
Cable guide installation. Fit the guides supplied with the product to prevent the cable from running at an angle and rubbing against surfaces; seat the guide in its inner channel and secure it with the black hook-and-loop ties. Cut the cable to length through the guide, leaving the guide in place.
